Where Astronomy and Jewellery Collide...

G O L D

Like you and I, gold is a consequence of celestial conception.

Gold is extraterrestrial, and by cosmic transit and craftsmanship, humans have adorned themselves since the

Thracian and Ancient Egyptian eras.

It is theorised that approximately 200 million year's after Earth's formation, ancient asteroids harbouring

alien treasure, survived the fiery passage of our atmosphere.

And this meteorite merchant gifted gold.

But how was it forged?

It is the radiant and incandescent deaths of precursory stars that birth new stellar generations,

the only stars with the ability to create gold.

The cataclysmic supernovae explosions of these dying stellar titans, activates the conception

of multiplying elements and therefore richer metallicity- that is, all elements superseding Hydrogen and Helium

[the most abundant substances - making up 99.9% of known universal matter]. So truly, all metals came to be by supernovae explosions.

The gravitational pressure of material compresses, triggering nuclear fusion in star cores,

releasing hydrogen generated energy and birthing starlight. The fusion process ceases, and this violent expiration

allows heavier elements to forge, including gold.

The core pressure deteriorates, and the veneers collapse inward.  The sudden influx of energy triggers a supernovae explosion,

blasting elemental debris that will forge the subsequent star generations,

who will birth later elements.

The swirling dance of dust and gas, coalescing into new stars, planets and other celestial bodies.

Following the transit, Earth's bubbling hot core propelled the gold nuggets to the surface. Gold flakes have been identified amongst the earliest traces of human DNA in paleolithic caves, and records of gold for wear as early as 4000BC.

From the flesh of the Gods [Ancient Egyptian mythos] to the sweat of the Sun [South American mythos], to modern empirical stratification of this noble metal. To this day, gold is the embodiment of finery, it's scarceness and versatility anchoring it's distinction throughout time.
